Sergeant Shot Dead By Police Inspector In Kano

 

 

A police inspector attached to the Kano command, Ya’u Yakubu has reportedly shot dead a sergeant, Basharu Alhassan during an altercation.

 

 

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the incident happened on Tuesday night in Warawa LGA of Kano state when a fight broke out between Yakubu and Alhassan.

 

It was also learnt that the police inspector, Yakubu brought out his gun and shot at Alhassan during the fight.

 

 

The deceased was said to have been rushed to the Wudil General Hospital by his colleagues.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Alhassan was said to have been declared dead by the doctors.

 

Reacting to the development, the police public relation officer in the state, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident.
