Gernot Rohr, the head coach of the Super Eagles, has called up 30 players for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Liberia and Cape Verde in September.
VAM News reports that Super Eagles play Liberia on September 3 in Lagos, before travelling to Cape Verde four days later.
Rohr has picked a strong squad, including seven players that would replace UK-based stars, if the British government does not grant them an exemption for the trip to Cape Verde (a red-listed country in their coronavirus watch).
Kingsley Michael and Innocent Bonke are the only new faces invited.
