One passenger has sustained serious injuries in a lone road crash along the Ikirun-Ila Odo road in Osun State.
The incident according to Agnes Ogungbemi, the spokesperson of the Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC), involved an Ash coloured Toyota Camry car with registration number GWA143BX.
Ogungbemi said the crash could have been caused by overspeeding on the part of the driver.
She explained that the lone passenger of the vehicle, an adult male has been taken to a private hospital in Ikirun for treatments.
The road safety spokesperson said a mobile set recovered at the crash site has been handed to the victim’s wife while arrangements are in top gear to recover the vehicle from the ditch where it had crashed.
Also, she advised passengers to always drive within the prescribed speed limit bearing in mind that most roads are not in good shape.
