Negligence Of The Highest Order – NANS Reacts To The Death Of FUTA Student, Allegedly Ignored By School Management

VAM news has gathered that NANS has reacted to the death of a FUTA student who reportedly kicked the bucket due to recklessness and negligence of the school.

This was revealed through a statement released by Hon. Ogundeyi Adeoluwa Peters, Former Director National Media and Publicity NANS Nigeria 2015.

The statement reads;

If a person is seriously injured as a result of someone else’s negligence, then they are entitled to a robust Compensation. Negligence is the rust of the soul, that corrodes through all her best Resolves.

I, Comr Ogundeyi Adeoluwa Peters The Former Director Media and Publicity NANS ONDO JCC AXIS 2014, Former National Director Media and Publicity NANS Nigeria 2015. Solemnly writes to clear the air pertaining to the Ugly Accident that Occured Yesterday Night Monday 2nd August 2021Around 10pm to 1:30am which claimed a Life of FUTA Student which name have been identified as Comr. Akinyele Daniel a.k.a NaijaBaz from The Faculty of Engineering, Department of Software Engineering 200Level.

Today, l need to put calls through some Appropriate quarters in ensuring that the real Information was gathered without any misconception from an outsider, l called these following Comrades in Question:

Incumbent FUTASUG President
Comr. Ibiyemi Abiodun (General Whales)
Former NAOSS FUTA PRESIDENT Comr Eja Nla
Incumbent NANS JCC CHAIRMAN ONDO AXIS
Comr. Omotoso Surprise Jocikunly.

In which each of them told me their part of the Story and from the Investigation that l carried out, it was shown that those Boys numbered to 4 in the Vehicle were not Drunk at all and it was a Trailer that came to crossed them from the other side to their Lane in which hit their Vehicle. The Decrease, Late *Comr. Akinyele Daniel NaijaBaz* was even the one trying to rescue other Victims in which unknown to him was already having Internal Bleeding. This occurred around after 10 in the Night even from my information he still rode on Bike in carrying some of the Victims to a nearby Hospital where the Incident occurred *Adetade Hospital Ilesha Garage*. Where a call was put through to the Health Centre of FUTA requesting for Ambulance Bus in conveying the Victims down to Federal Medical Centre Owo.

When Adetade Hospital have issued them Transfer Letter but with the Level of Stupidity, Non-Challant Attitude and Negligence of the Highest Order of FUTA Health Centre. It was recorded that they were told that there is no Fuel in the Ambulance Bus so therefore the Ambulance can not move out of the School talk less of conveying those Students down to Owo for Proper Treatment.

After, all efforts been seem fruitless the Decease became weak and begin to feel Dizzy, this is when he knows that something have been wronged with him and around 1:30am he gave up the Ghost. What an Negligence of the Highest Order from The Health Centre FUTA…

Just letting the General Public to know that those Students never taste any Acohol talkless of drinking to Stupor before embarking on their Journey. Nothing of Such Happened and on this Note The FUTASUG in support of some State and National Stakeholders have come out with this following Demands from the Management which go as following:

1) That no Student should face any form of Disciplinary Panel as regards to the Current Situation.

2) We asked that the C.S.O be properly Sanctioned due to the Negligence of the Officers within his Jurisdiction.

3) We asked that the Management of the Health Care Centre be Charged due to accrued irregularities that caused the Life of a Student and about 6 others in the past 4 Years.

4) We also ask that the Health Care Centre be Upgraded within the next 6 Months.

5) We also ask for the Provision of the Students’ Union Utility Vehicle for cases of Emergencies.

6) We also ask for a University Toll Free Lines for cases of Security and Health Emergency Services.

7) We also ask for a review of Laws binding the Closure of the School Gate and in Cases of Emergencies access should be allowed at anytime with any mode of Transportation…
