The appeal court sitting in Akure, the capital of Ondo state, will deliver its decision today in the appeal brought before it by Eyitayo Jegede, the PDP’s candidate for governor in the October 10, 2020 election.
Jegede had filed an appeal after the election tribunal dismissed his case for lack of merit.
The court will rule on a cross-appeal case filed by the state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the APC, and INEC.
The court had last week through a Zoom session heard all the appeals by the appellant and defenders.
