APC Plateau caretaker chairman suspended

The caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Plateau State, Mr. Lateb Dabang, has been suspended indefinitely.

An insider within the party told Blueprint that the suspension came after Thursday’s emergency meeting of the party was concluded.

According to the source, the state Governor Simon Lalong, APC’s 17 local government area chairmen, their secretaries, as well as 16 LGC chairmen of the party were all in attendance, at the Banquet hall of the Government House little rayfield Jos.

Although no further explanation was given, but one of those present at the meeting, said the suspension was as a results of some, “alleged financial fraud, high handedness in the conduct of party affairs by the suspended chairman.”
