The Impacts That Reversal  Of Education Policies Will Have On Osun Educational Sector

The Forum of Education Officers, Osun State on Friday said it was very difficult to rate the education sector by the old policies practised until it was reversed by the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

The chairman of the forum, Olajide Adeyemi explained during the delegate conference and election of new executives held at Ataoja School of Science that the reversal of education policies initiated by Governor Oyetola would harness the duties of education officers in the state.

According to him, “Oyetola understudied the National Policies on Education and State Policies on Education and married them together to suit the purpose of Osun State. He took a lot of steps to reshape the education sector. I was at Abuja during a conference organized for SUBEB officials, he was rated high. Under National Policy on Education, he has done a lot, there are a lot of changes like the formation of executives of the Examination Board, harmonization between the SUBEB and other agencies.’’
