Hope was initially raised on Friday for over 200 abducted students at Niger State, as the revolutionary President of NANS, Comrade Adedayo Sunday Asefon, solidarised with the state.

The president met with students leaders, authorities of tertiary institutions and state authority, the Deputy Governor in acting capacity.

In the statement made available to Public by the NANS National media, Asefon revealed his stand: “Insecurity demands collective collaboration of all stakeholders, and as planned, we will rally on June 12 to demand better actions and strategies in combating insecurity in Nigeria, especially in our schools.”

The revolutionary President said, he will be engaging security apparatuses in Niger State today to advocate for maximum effort of the state in ensuring the prompt release of the kidnapped students.

Asefon insisted that “until all of us are free to go to school and get a sound and quality education, we all are not free indeed and the abductees must be freed unconditionally.”
