Olufemi Akosile: Heavy Blow For TOP As Reps Aspirant backs Ijesha North APC, Declares Support For Oyetola Ticket

Engr Olufemi Akosile, the House of Representatives Aspirant in Ijesha North Federal Constituency has backed the stand of leaders of All Progressives Congress in Ijesha North to support the second term ambition of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

Akosile, whose men were present at the press conference held in Ibokun on Monday, made his stand known in a statement he signed on Tuesday and made available to newsmen.

VAM News on Monday reported that leaders of the party in the Ijesha North Federal Constituency dissociated themselves from the splinter group l, called The Osun Progressives (TOP).

Akosile said the achievements of Governor Oyetola are enough to earn everyone’s support towards continuity in 2022.

The APC chieftains also commended the APC stalwarts in both Obokun and Oriade local government areas for standing tall to be counted at the period when loyalty is needed.

“I want to join the party leaders and followers in Ijesha North Federal Constituency to declare our support for the re-election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for another term. The statements of our leaders have shown that our federal constituency is ready to be counted as leaders has stood tall against all adversity.

“The achievements of Mr Governor in about three years in power in all spheres of lives – infrastructures, health, human capital development, security among others- have shown that the he remains the best to govern Osun come 2022. It’s my personal belief that the leaders have spoken the minds of our teaming populace.

“I also called on aggrieved members of the party to use internal mechanism of the party to resolve their grievances. We all must come together to build our party, return Oyetola in 2022 and come out victorious come 2023.

“APC remains our party and Oyetola remains our overall leader.” Akosile said.
