The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Retd), has reoordsly appointed Commodore Aminu Shehu as his Chief of Staff.

 

This latest appointment places Commodore Shehu in a critical role, where he will assist in managing government operations and support the Sole Administrator in implementing policies.

 

Shehu, who previously served in the Nigerian Navy, brings a wealth of experience in security and administration, which is expected to help streamline the state’s governance.

 

Vice Admiral Ibas, a former Chief of Naval Staff, was appointed as the Sole Administrator by President Bola Tinubu following political crisis in Rivers State.

 

Since assuming office, he has taken decisive actions, including suspending the political office holders and swearing in a new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), as part of efforts to reorganize the leadership structure.
