THE Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 37-year-old ex-convict, Omokinwa Ademola, for allegedly beating his girlfriend, Joy Jimoh, to death during a dispute over ₦100,000 in Idanre.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ayanlade Olayinka Olushola, the incident occurred on October 7, 2025, when the suspect and the deceased got into a heated argument over the refund of the money he reportedly borrowed from her.
