Kidnappers attack vehicle, abduct passengers in Taraba — Report

Suspected armed kidnappers attacked a vehicle and took away several passengers on the Chinkai–Kente–Wukari road in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

 

The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday, according to a report shared on Tuesday on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama.

 

According to Makama, the kidnappers stopped the vehicle on the busy road and took the passengers away to an unknown location.

 

Mustapha Jubrin, a youth leader from the Jukun community, reported the incident to the Taraba State Police Command.

 

Following the attack, security forces were deployed to the area to search the surrounding bushes and rescue the victims.
