On behalf of the grateful people of Idanre and the entire Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, I, Hon. Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye, extends my deepest appreciation to His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State, for the historic flag-off of the Akure-Idanre Road dualization project on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Arakale-Oke-Aro Junction in Akure.

This landmark 10-kilometer project, equipped with modern traffic systems, solar-powered streetlights, and a robust 28-metre wide carriageway, fulfills a key promise of His Excellency and addresses long-standing challenges of congestion and safety. It is indeed a game-changer for Idanre local government, enhancing connectivity, boosting agribusiness, promoting tourism to the iconic Idanre Hills, and driving economic prosperity across Ondo State.

For decades, commuters and farmers in Idanre have endured difficulties transporting goods to Akure’s markets. This road dualization unlocks immense opportunities for trade, job creation, and improved livelihoods, reflecting Governor Aiyedatiwa’s unparalleled vision and commitment to the people.

With this transformative project and his relentless pursuit of development, Governor Aiyedatiwa is fast establishing himself as the best governor in the history of Ondo State.
His leadership, anchored in the “OUR EASE” 7-Point Development Agenda, is a beacon of hope and progress for all.

On behalf of Idanre, I pledge our unwavering support for His Excellency’s administration and commitment to ensuring the project’s timely completion. We also thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for enabling states to undertake such impactful initiatives.

Once again, I commend Governor Aiyedatiwa’s exceptional leadership and pray for divine wisdom as he continues to lead Ondo State to new heights of progress and prosperity.
