By Bright Gbotemi

Celebration of existence of life and grace as the people are celebrating the birth of one of the great men in Nigeria for whose sake the month is so distinguished.

Who can this be, but Apostle Asiwaju Olugbenga, the Nigeria’s revered preacher, the founder of EL-OLAM International Christian Centre, aka Word Embassy is a year plus.

Today, September 18th, is tagged “Eagle Day” even so, like the man Caleb from Jewish history, Apostle Asiwaju remains strong and full of life.

People from Abuja, Akure, Lagos, and others are mobilising their citizens to raise their hands in prayer and thanksgiving for Apostle Asiwaju Olugbenga’s life of dedication to God and service to man. The Apostle has touched more lives locally and internationally. If this is not worth blessing God over, what is?

Apostle Asiwaju Olugbenga recently co-hosted a programme with his wife Rev Mrs Adun Asiwaju, called “5-Hours in His Presence”

During this program, the hall was jam-packed with people who came to seek the Lord. Many were healed and delivered.

Meanwhile, food items were distributed to everyone who attended the programme.

Apostle’s incredible accomplishments throughout his life profession as a father, mentor will astound you.

He was addimitted into the Fisheries Technology program at the Victoria Island campus of the College of Fisheries and Marine Technology in Lagos State(Aquaculture).

He also helped some farmers build their farms before building his own.

He became (AFS) under the Nigerian FISON Fisheries Society.

During his time in college, he rose to the positions of vice president of the JCCF and president of Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES), the largest campus fellowship (Joint Campus Christian Fellowship).

At the Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC), he earned a graduate degree in theology, and because of his outstanding performance, he was retained as a lecturer and completed his master’s program.

God worked marvels through him and a few other committed students throughout his time there, shaking the entire university.

Apostle Asiwaju performed a rare deed, or as some may say, a rare power, when he held a “Moment of Apostolic invasion” on Adaba Fm radio when the blind saw, the lame walked, the destitute received prosperity, and people gave their lives to Christ.

His mentors and role models are papa Ayo Oritsejafor, Pastor EA Adeboye, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Prophet Adebayo Makinde, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji and Benny Hinn.

He began displaying God’s might well before the age of eight, and like Prophet Samuel, he was endowed with miracles and prophecy.

Apostle is married to Rev Mrs Asiwaju and blessed with children.
