Osun State government has made the teaching and learning of French Language compulsory for students from primary four to junior secondary three (JS III) in all schools in the state.
Permanent Secretary at the state Ministry of Education, Mr. Adunade Amoo disclosed this on Monday while commissioning a French Learning and Resource Centre at Gray’s International College, which was constructed in collaboration with the French Government.

VOICE AIR MEDIA gathered that French is both a working language and an official language of the United Nations, the European Union, UNESCO, NATO, the International Olympic Committee, the International Red Cross and international courts.
Similarly, proficiency in French is essential for anyone considering a career in any international organisation.”
