NAIS CARETAKER CHAIRMAN SEEKS FOR UNION REFORM, CALLS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, STAKEHOLDERS AND RELEVANT AUTHORITIES TO ADDRESS CURRENT CHALLENGES IN IDANRE.

…Power Outage By BEDC And Unstable Challenge Of Selling Petrol Above Pump Price.

A love of learning, a longing for discovery, a commitment to pursuing the truth and making the world a better place are the underpinning of a great university. I find these in abundance here at NAIS. During the few months, I have spent much of my time learning about this exceptional place. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with hundreds of people who are warmth, passionate, dedicated, hopeful, proud, pragmatic, imaginative, attentive, supportive, enthusiastic and mission-focused people with positive feedbacks.

I am walking in new directions, and asking a lot of questions, learning about aspirations, what people are proudest of and what they are anxious about, as we move forward together.

More than anything, I am a good listener with full attention tendency.

There has been no shortage of opinions or ideas, and they are always voiced with a desire to make NAIS better.

Through this process, I have learnt that, for a relatively young association, we are immensely proud of our roots and humble beginnings. We are resilient – enduring and growing through times of turmoil, threat and challenge. And, we have an extraordinary capacity for renewal, reinventing ourselves and leaning into hurricane-like forces that reshape our landscape as a team.

I also learned that we are driven by a deep commitment to reach new heights. We are in the process of refreshing our strategic plan that can lead to a sustainable future for NAIS STUDENTS, ALUMNI and Community Partners are part of this important process.

Today, though, I will share what I have come to see as our greatest aspirations: defining visions for our future.

We all are aware of the challenges facing Our students Union body today.

In the midst of these challenges and criticisms and demand for our union reform, there is hope and expectation. NAIS should be seen by many as the source of new knowledge, the societal change agent like a catalyst for breaking the cycle of poverty through education system in idanre . Today we face these challenges but remain confident that our students have the skills, knowledge and adaptability to be future leaders and contribute to a just society.

Today we are facing a lot of challenges in our community, part of the challenge is outbreak of electricity in some area in our community, the body have visited the power holding company office in the Idanre and we have expressed our point of view to them but nevertheless, we are using this great medium to call the attention of All our community stakeholders, relevant agencies, the security personnels, traditional rulers, Community elders, Religion leaders, all the artisans and every household to call the attention of BEDC Ondo state and Idanre local government Chapter to order as Nigeria students will start to embark on indefinitely lockdown of everywhere in the community if necessary action is not taking by them, but as at this moment of compiling this brief message together, we are still appealing to all our students,Youths to stay calm as the union Leader are still on there 3C of aluta.
