APC National Secretary, Omisore Loses Polling Unit, Local Govt

The lawmaker representing Ife federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro has described the poor outing of APC in Osun today as a result her failure to deliver on good governance.

The lawmaker said what happened in Ile-Ife today is a testament to the fact people have rejected the party and they can never be trusted again in Osun State.

“Today, people of Osun trooped out to register their displeasure by voting massively against the APC. The unprecedented achievements of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the last one hundred days (100) in office.”

“The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Iyiola Omisore was defeated roundly in his polling unit, Ward, his Local Government ife Ife East and in all the Local Governments in Ife. This signaled to the end of APC in Ife zone.

“Back in the days when an individual will just decide what will happen to the political fortune of the followers. Now, people are now more aware and sensitive to what they want.”

All the House of Assembly candidates from Ife zone won their respective constituencies. Ifeland is now fully for PDP.
