Chief Adebare: A vote against Sanwo-Olu is a vote for destruction of Lagos

The leader of Yoruba United Nations (YUN), Chief Murphy Adebare, has warned Lagosians, especially the Yoruba race not to make the mistake of voting against Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming March 11 governorship election.

Adebare, who spoke with journalists in Lagos on Sunday, said it is now clear that there are evil plans by some people to hijack Lagos State.

The leader of YUN opined that the campaign against Sanwo-Olu was not about his competence but an evil plan to destabilize the structure of Lagos.

Adebare said: “It is only a fool that will pretend to say there is no plan to destabilize Lagos. Meanwhile, the people with evil intentions are aware that the first step is to remove Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

“Many of the hatchers of these plots are not Yorubas, they are mostly Igbo, but they have managed to brainwash some of our people in the name of the liberation movement. The funny thing is that the evil planners have failed to liberate their states but they claim they can liberate Lagos.

“So for now, they are endorsing candidates who are ready to do their bidding. They are moving around to campaign against a structure that has accommodated everyone. Now, they are no longer comfortable with the accommodation, they want the whole structure, saying “Lagos is no man’s land”.

“What an aberration, how can you say Lagos is no man’s land after you have been made so comfortable by the people of the same land? So today, I am not begging the Yoruba race, I am saying straight up to their faces, you better wake up.

“Any vote against Sanwo-Olu is a vote for an individual who has agreed to do the bidding of the evil ones.

“Another angle to this matter is that, “when you are losing your right, they call it liberation, when you are claiming your right, they call it tribalistic,” Yoruba people must be careful. May we not weep bitterly after we have lost our nose to spite our face.”

“Some people have said, Go and beg the people of Lagos state, for me, I won’t beg. Let us try and make the mistake of giving Lagos to people who have no competence to lead a ward, then we will know the truth but before it is too late, I will shout and summon the real people of Lagos state to wake up.”

When asked to talk about the achievements of Governor Sanwo-Olu, Adebare said: “I will just be speaking plenty of English, Governor Sanwo-Olu’s work is everywhere for everyone to see, only the evil ones will say Sanwo-Olu has not done enough in four years and of all his opponents, no one can come close to Sanwo-Olu’s leadership capacity. They are all naive boys who want to have power with no knowledge. So now is not the time to say this is what Sanwo-Olu has done. My question to everyone is that are you not seeing the effect of the leadership? If anyone says no, just know that it is pure hatred and jealousy for what Sanwo-Olu has achieved.” CONTINUE READING…………………………
