Osun: Adeleke Commissions Osogbo Central Hospital

Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, has commissioned the Osogbo Central Hospital, an establishment of Dr. Akin Ajayi.

Ajayi is the the Chief Medical Director Osogbo Central Hospital located Oke baale Osogbo, the state capital.

Adeleke, who was represented by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, the said the commissioning of the hospital was another milestone in the history of Osun State.

“In couple of weeks ago, a similar event took place in Osogbo which is a good signal that good things have come to stay in Osogbo. This means that Imole ti de, okunkun ti n parada. The government cannot do it alone without private partnerships like we are witnessing today, I hope more of these are coming up.

“My boss told me this morning that a good business environment will be provided for individuals, companies that are interested in coming down to Osun State to exhibit what they have in stock and I am here today to re-emphasize that we need to come to Osun State and invest.

“There is one important thing that I want us to take home and that has to do with youths. Youths can be useful and productive. Dr. Ajayi is a typical example of one and he has shown the whole world that the sky is the limit. With perseverance and endurance, we all witness what he has put together today,” he said.

Speaking Ajayi, said the hospital is well equipped with state-of-the-earth equipments, personnel and beautifully constructed as well, adding that the hospital was built with an aim to reduce medical tourism in the state.

“We have very good laboratory, a good radiology centre, OPG, dialysis centre with top notch specialists managing the place, we have a dental unit, ophthalmology unit, ICU, special care baby’s unit and all these culminates in our ability to give premium healthcare to patients as a mini one stop shop to our clients,” he said.

The Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji, in his address, commended Ajayi whom he described as his adopted son.

“He stated clearly that he is such an industrious and dedicated man to the course of human health which is why he pledged his support towards the establishment of the hospital when be initially spoke of it,” the monarch said.

The official commissioning was done by the deputy governor on behalf of the governor after an inspection of the hospital. CONTINUE READING…
