Buhari talks tough after terrorists’ attacks in 3 states, says “this madness must end” 

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured the states of Sokoto, Plateau and Kaduna of Federal support after a series of terrorists attacks, in which scores of people died.

 

“We have given security forces full freedom to deal with, and bring this madness to an end”, he said in a statement by spokesman Malam Garba Shehu on Tuesday night.

 

“I condemn these barbaric attacks on the country. I assure the states of all possible support from the government of the federation.

 

“My thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly,’’ Buhari said.

According to the statement, Buhari has sent condolences to those who lost their loved ones
