Shina Peller reportedly curses Buhari after losing Oyo North Senate nomination

A trending video of Rep Shina Peller, showed him cursing Abdulfatai Buhari, winner of the Oyo North senatorial nomination of the All Progressives Congress.

 

While Peller scored a miserable five votes, Buhari won with a landslide, polling 570 votes.

 

Peller, who represents lseyin/ltesiwaju/Kajola/lwajowa federal constituency came in a distant third.

 

 

Ayotunde Olowofoyeku, chairman of the election committee, who declared the result on Sunday, said Saheed Yusuf came second with six votes.

 

Adeboyin Oladokun came fourth after Peller with four votes, while Sola Ogunbode had no vote.

The total number of accredited voters was 592, with seven votes declared invalid.

 

Peller disappointed by his loss said the ticket won by Abdulfatai Buhari would ‘liquidate’ in his hands before the election, invoking God’s name.

 

 

He said the Oke-Ogun people have been held captive by Buhari and said God will free the people.

 

He also said the Electoral Act allows a seven-month campaign window, hinting that he may seek election on another party platform.
