Osun: THOTH Foundation Empowers 40 Women With Topnotch Training, Sewing Machines

THOTH Foundation: The helper of the helpless has given a future and hope to forty (40) women from all walks of life as the foundation empowered them with sewing machines after the successful completion of their Six months topnotch training in fashion design.

The graduation ceremony for the batch 2021 trainees was held on Thursday, 28th October, 2021 at THOTH Secretariat, Jesus Court Building, Alekuwodo, Oke FIA, Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

The empowerment was part of the foundation’s calling by God to put smiles in the faces of the downtrodden and the less privileged in our society.

Speaking during the empowerment program, the initiator and Director of THOTH Foundation, Honourable Funmilayo Olasehinde-Mustapha said the helper of the helpless Foundation was birthed of a divine call she received sometimes in 2002 but didn’t heed to and as a result suffered some setbacks which included but not limited to an ailment that made her be flown abroad twice.

She said her call cum efforts and prayers were brought into fruition in the year 2015 when Thoth Foundation was born.

“I welcome you all to this August occasion where we are all gathered to put smiles in the faces of the downtrodden and the less privileged in our society. I return all glory and honour to God for counting me worthy as vessel of hope to bringing smiles to the faces of women and children in grieve and want, by putting in place a foundation of hope for the needy; hence the birth of THOTH Foundation… the helper of the helpless – (Ajo
Ajigbo Ti Alaini) in the year 2015.
