THE Osun State chapter of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has inaugurated a 10,000-member canvassing team and donated 30 campaign vehicles to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
The inauguration, held at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo, on Saturday, brought together political leaders across party lines, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), members of the Ademola Adeleke-led administration, and representatives of the Niger Delta political bloc, in a show of commitment to a broad-based coalition for President Tinubu’s second term.
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, in his address, described the inauguration as a demonstration of commitment, organisation and shared conviction in President Tinubu’s continuity agenda.
Oyetola, who was represented by the APC governorship candidate for the 2026 Osun election, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, commended High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, for supporting the initiative and his nationwide advocacy for Tinubu’s re-election.
He said, “There is no doubt that the presidential campaign of President Tinubu is highly visible and increasingly gaining momentum across the Southwest. This gives us an enormous responsibility to ensure that the Southwest delivers overwhelming votes for our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the forthcoming general election.
“I am particularly impressed by the massive mobilisation of the APC structure for today’s inauguration. Our target of mobilising 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu in Osun is achievable if we approach the assignment with unity, discipline and determination.”
He urged Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliation, to identify with President Tinubu’s continuity agenda.
“I charge you to approach this assignment with sincerity, discipline and an unwavering commitment to the cause. Shun hypocrisy, political pretence and complacency,” he said.
Also speaking, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who was represented by his Deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, urged members of the Accord Party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his supporters to forget past disagreements and unite to deliver victory for the President.
The National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi, encouraged voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and deliver two million votes for President Tinubu in Osun, irrespective of party affiliation.

Speaking on behalf of Chief Government Ekpemupolo, the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Dr. Kestin Pondi, said the vehicles were equipped to ease grassroots campaigning.
“We are not just coming to inaugurate, we are also bringing to you 30 campaign vehicles mounted with speakers, generators and amplifiers to make the campaign work very easily.
“Our message is simple. We have come to join you in Osun. We know that President Bola Tinubu is Osun and Osun is President Bola Tinubu. We believe in his reform agenda and that he is what Nigeria needs at this time. Our economy is stable and investors are now coming to Nigeria,” Pondi stated.
“We know you will vote for the man who is moving Nigeria forward. What we are asking is that you don’t give less than 90 percent of your votes. If you can’t give 100 percent, don’t go below 90 percent,” he added.
In his remarks, the Osun State Coordinator of the Movement, Rtr. Amb. Adeolu Olanrewaju, assured the national leadership that the team would not disappoint, promising that every door in the state would be touched.
The National Secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, also highlighted the achievements of President Tinubu, including the NELFUND student loan scheme, infrastructural drive, increased federal allocations and improved economy.
