The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has appointed Hon. Akinro Racheal, former councillorship aspirant in Idanre Local Government, as Special assistant on Mobilization.
Hon. Racheal, who hails from Irowo Ward in Idanre local government, was a former aspirant for the councillorship seat under APC in the last local government election.
Her appointment was announced in a statement released from the Chief Press Secretary in Akure on October, 2026. According to the statement, her appointment is in recognition of her grassroots mobilization skills, loyalty to the party, and contributions to community development in Idanre and Ondo state.
The Governor congratulated Hon. Racheal and charged her to use her new office to mobilize more support for the administration, especially among women and youths at the grassroots.
Reacting to her appointment, Hon. Akinro Racheal expressed gratitude to the Governor for finding her worthy to serve, promising to justify the confidence reposed in her.
She said, “I thank His Excellency for this great opportunity. I promise to work tirelessly to mobilize our people for the success of this administration.”
Her appointment has been described by residents of Irowo Ward and Idanre Local Government as well-deserved, with many taking to social media to congratulate her.
