Fadahunsi Congratulates Adeleke On Re-Election, Urges Equitable Development Across Osun

Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, representing Osun East Senatorial District, has congratulated Governor

Ademola Adeleke on his re-election for a second term, while urging the administration to prioritize equitable development across the state.

 

In a congratulatory message dated September 4, 2026, Fadahunsi extended greetings on behalf of his political family, associates and the people of Osun East Senatorial District.

 

He described Adeleke’s victory as a reflection of the confidence and electoral mandate given by Osun people. The senator said the new term provides an opportunity to build on the achievements of the first administration and deliver more dividends of democracy.

“Having once again secured the confidence and electoral mandate of the people for a second term, I pray that Almighty God will grant you greater wisdom, strength, good health and the grace to surpass the achievements recorded during your first term in office,” Fadahunsi stated.

 

The lawmaker appealed to Adeleke to pay special attention to the socioeconomic needs of the state, with particular focus on Osun East Senatorial District.

 

He emphasized the need for equitable distribution of government projects, programmes and other benefits across all parts of Osun, noting that the second term should broaden the administration’s development agenda.

Fadahunsi also pledged his support and collaboration to the governor, stressing that political differences should not hinder collective progress.

He added that cooperation among political leaders, government officials, stakeholders and residents will be critical to achieving lasting peace and prosperity in Osun.
