•Urges Deeper Good Governance
THE Osun Online Publishers Association, OOPA, has congratulated Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on his victory in the Osun State Governorship Election.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Abioye Tosin Lawrence, and Publicity Secretary, Babatunde Raji, OOPA said the outcome of the election underscores the importance of democratic participation and the power of the ballot in determining the leadership of the state.
The association urged the governor to see the renewed mandate as a call to deepen good governance, transparency, accountability and inclusive development across Osun State.
OOPA also commended the people of Osun for their participation in the democratic process and appreciated all stakeholders who contributed to the peaceful conduct of the election.
The association reiterated its commitment to responsible and credible online journalism, adding that it will continue to uphold its role in promoting peaceful governance and constructive engagement between the government and people of the state.
“Once again, we congratulate Your Excellency on your electoral victory and wish you a successful tenure in office. We pray that your renewed mandate brings greater development, prosperity and unity to Osun State,” the statement read.
