Woman Found Dead After Taking Child to JAMB Centre

On Monday, a woman identified as Oluwasola Victoria Adebayo, suddenly collapsed and died at Ilara-Mokin Junction, a town in the Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.

According to correspondent, the deceased had accompanied her child to a centre for the ongoing Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination when the incident occurred.

Sources at the scene said the woman reportedly complained of weakness shortly after arriving at the junction before collapsing unexpectedly. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful, and she was confirmed dead on the spot.

At the time of the incident, her child was said to be inside the examination hall writing the test, unaware of the unfolding tragedy outside.

A local resident who identified the deceased, popularly known as “Mommy Ayo,” confirmed that she had earlier mentioned her plans to escort her daughter to the examination centre that morning.

The shocking incident drew the attention of passersby and residents in the area, many of whom expressed grief over the sudden loss. As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of death had not been officially determined.

Authorities are yet to issue a formal statement on the incident, while further details are expected as investigations unfold.
