“Free and Fair Election Depends on Logistics” — APP’s Adesuyi Tasks INEC on Transparency in Osun Gov’ship

Banji Clement Adesuyi, the Action Peoples Party (APP) Governorship candidate for upcoming Osun State election on August 15, 2026, is calling on the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Amupitan, to implement rigorous protocols for the profiling of buses and drivers designated for election logistics. This critical step is very essential to guarantee a smooth and secure electoral process in the state.

In a statement released today, Adesuyi emphasized the importance of transparency in the logistics surrounding the election. The integrity of our electoral process hinges on the trust we can build among the electoral materials and personnel will fortify our commitment to a free and fair election “said Adesuyi”.

He further urged the INEC to take decisive action to ensure that the upcoming election is conducted free from any form of malpractice or intimidation. The people of Osun State deserve an election that is credible, conclusive and reflective of their will. I implore INEC to take all necessary measures to safeguard this democratic process, he added.

Adesuyi’s call to action not only highlights the key logistical challenges facing the electoral boby but also reflect his commitment to upholding the democratic values that are vital to Nigeria growth and stability.

As election date approaches, he encourage the electorates to engage actively in the democratic process, ensuring that their voice are heard and their votes count. ” Together we can make history in Osun State by ensuring that our elections are not only fair but also respected by all”, he concluded.
