•Caucus commends Gov. Oyebanji’s youth inclusion, infrastructure, and economic strides

EKITI YOUTH PARLIAMENT CAUCUS ENDORSES GOV. OYEBANJI FOR SECOND TERM, LAUNCHES ‘OPERATION WIN YOUR POLLING UNIT’

The Ekiti State Caucus of the Nigerian Youth Parliament has declared full support for the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, citing his youth-focused leadership and visible development strides across the state.

In a statement signed by the three members representing Ekiti at the National Assembly, the caucus said Gov. Oyebanji’s administration has delivered inclusive governance, economic growth, educational reforms, and unprecedented youth inclusion since assuming office.

“Under His Excellency, Ekiti has recorded significant progress in infrastructure, social welfare, and citizen engagement. More importantly, his government has placed young people at the centre of decision-making,” the statement read.

The caucus especially commended the transformation of the Ministry of Youth Development and the efforts of the Hon. Commissioner, Hon. Adedayo Gold, for making youth affairs vibrant and accessible at the grassroots.

As part of its endorsement, the caucus announced a statewide mobilisation campaign tagged ‘OPERATION WIN YOUR POLLING UNIT’ to sensitise and mobilise young voters across Ekiti’s 16 LGAs ahead of the 2026 election.

“We believe Governor Oyebanji has earned the trust of Ekiti people through performance, not promises. The journey of progress must not be interrupted. His vision deserves continuity,” the caucus declared.
