President Bola Tinubu has appealed to young Nigerians to stop leaving the country in search of greener pastures abroad.

Mr Tinubu said this in his Democracy Day address, urging them to commit their talents, innovation and energy to building a stronger and more vibrant country.

“To our young people: Nigeria is your home and your future. Build here, code here, work here, and vote here,” the president stated.

While urging Nigerians to channel their energy into developing their country, Mr Tinubu stressed that the world’s most successful nations were built by citizens who chose to confront challenges and create solutions.

“Every great nation was built by those who stayed to solve problems, not by those who abandoned ship,” he added.
