Tajudeen Adefisoye “Small Alhaji” Cleared for Idanre/Ifedore APC primary

All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives aspirant for Idanre/Ifedore Federal constituency, Ondo State, Tajudeen Adefisoye, popularly known as “Small Alhaji,” has dismissed reports suggesting that he was disqualified or not cleared to contest in party’s primary process, describing the claims as “null, void, and of no effect.”

In a statement issued via his X handle through his media team, Small Alhaji argued that the alleged disqualification violated party guidelines, due process, and the principle of fair hearing.

According to the statement, the party’s screening rules provide that any aspirant who is not cleared must be given the opportunity to appeal before a final decision is made. It insisted that this procedure was not followed in Adefisoye’s case.

The media team maintained that the politician participated fully in the screening exercise and was duly cleared as an aspirant, adding that he was not formally invited for any appeal process nor notified of any valid disqualification before the election.

“For the avoidance of doubt, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye remained a cleared aspirant and duly participated in the election conducted yesterday,” the statement read.

It further described any post-election claims of disqualification as inconsistent with party guidelines and therefore invalid.

Small Alhaji added that the election was peacefully conducted and said it is awaiting the official announcement of results.
