Update on BBNaija Season 11

News Update

Organisers of Big Brother Naija have signalled the return of the show for its 11th season, with auditions expected to begin soon.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via the show’s official X account, where a teaser video was posted alongside the caption, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?”

The organisers also confirmed the development with the message, “It’s back. Auditions coming soon!”

The new season followed the conclusion of Season 10, which premiered on July 26, 2025, featuring 29 housemates competing for a ₦150 million grand prize.

Season 10 introduced notable changes to the format, particularly in the Head of House challenge.

While the Sunday game determined initial leadership, a second challenge held on Monday had the power to change the outcome.

Housemates who placed last were automatically nominated for eviction.
Additional twists included the “Bag of Big Twists,” controlled by the Head of House, and the “red telephone,” which delivered surprise instructions from Biggie.

The “Influential Player of the Week” feature was also introduced to encourage more strategic gameplay.

At the end of the season, Imisi Ayanwale emerged winner with 42.8 per cent of the votes, defeating finalists such as Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo.

Her win places her among previous champions including Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and Ilebaye.
