THE All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State, as Chairman of the Ekiti State Governorship Election Campaign Council.

The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated April 24, 2026, and signed by the party’s National Secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru. According to the letter, the decision reflects Governor Sani’s “distinguished leadership, political experience, and commitment to the success of our party in this critical election.”

The correspondence, addressed to the Kaduna State Government House, also formally invited Governor Sani to attend the official flag-off rally of the APC campaign ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election.
