‘I’m Fully in the Race’: Hon. Olomola Tunde Aroma Debunks Rumor of Quitting Idanre House of Assembly Bid

News Update

House of Assembly aspirant in Idanre local government area of Ondo state, Hon. Olomola Kolawole Tunde, popularly known as Aroma, has dismissed rumors that he has withdrawn from the race, insisting he remains “fully committed, fully prepared, and fully in the race.”

In a statement issued on Monday in Idanre, Hon. Olomola Tunde described the speculation as “a complete lie” being spread to mislead the public and create confusion ahead of the election.

“It has come to my attention that certain individuals are spreading false information, claiming that I am not serious about my ambition and that I am not part of the contestants for the Idanre House of Assembly,” he said.

The aspirant also denied claims that he told people he was not contesting or that he was pushed into the race by a political leader.

“My ambition is not forced. It is a deliberate decision driven by my passion to serve, my commitment to our people, and my vision for a better Idanre,” Aroma stated.

He added: “At no point have I told anyone that I am not contesting. Those spreading such rumors are only trying to mislead the public.”

Aroma urged constituents to disregard what he called “propaganda” and to seek verified information from his official communication channels.

“This is not a time for distractions or misinformation. It is a time to stay focused, united, and committed to the progress of our constituency,” he said.
