News Update

Hon. Bimbola Salas, the Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo state, has urged Idanre APC Leaders and Youths to shun political violence and actively participate in building Idanre to safeguard the town’s assets.

He made this call following the the bad incident that happened yesterday Wednesday February 18th in Idanre after the peaceful APC party ward congress.

According to him, politics should foster development and brotherliness rather than create division.
“Let this be the way politics is played in Idanre local government, we have no reason to abuse, kill each other the way we are doing in Idanre.”

“The leaders and the youths in Idanre APC should further a cause that touches the very soul of our town: security, peace, and democratic integrity,” he said.

He commended the commissioner of police, DPO and other security operatives for restoring peace to the Local
Government and may the soul of the victims rest in perfect peace.
