“Dying Lawmaker”, Accord Slams Wole Oke Over Fraudulent Plot To Mislead INEC

The Osun State Chapter of the Accord has observed with utter disdain, a crude, desperate and intellectually deficient graphic being circulated by one Hon Wole Oke, calling on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deregister Accord as a political party in Nigeria

In a statement signed by the Osun State Accord Chairman, Pastor Victor Babalola Akande and released on Sunday, stated; “We state without equivocation that this laughable calisthenics by Wole is a calculated ploy to set a fraudulent agenda, aimed at coercing INEC into an illegal action, all in a failed bid to prevent His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke, from contesting the August 8, 2026 governorship election on the platform of Accord.

This reckless attempt is yet another open display of frustration by enemies of democracy, clandestinely represented by Wole Oke, whose political relevance has since been burnt on the altar of ‘Hamanic golgotha’ set by himself.

The insinuation that Accord is liable for deregistration is not only insane and ignorant, it is a clear indication that its author suffers from mental clumsiness escalating into a dangerous disconnect with simple reality.

Accord has consistently recorded strong showings in elections across Nigeria, and remains a fully registered, law-abiding political party that has met, and even exceeded the requirements of the Electoral Act. It takes only a feeble mind and a rabble-rouser of the Wole Oke variety to imagine that Accord can be deregistered by propaganda. This is nothing but the last kick of a dying horse, gasping for attention.

While Wole Oke continues to wrestle with his obvious psychological instability, possibly worsened by indulgence in substances far stronger than his neuro-capacity can manage, the good people of Osun State must remain focused, calm and undistracted.
“Instead of allowing such idiotic postulations to get at us, our people must file this show of mental somersault in the appropriate archive, pending a commensurate response at the appropriate time, especially at the next round of elections in the state.”

Osun State must not be reduced or rated by the infantile political conduct of a baby adult like Wole Oke. His rightful place is the dustbin of electoral history, where political nonentities like him ultimately belong.

Wole Oke must immediately desist from dragging the good name of our great party into his desperate attempts to impress his political lords in his abode of perdition. For once, he should be seen discharging his duties to the good people of Obokun–Oriade FederalConstituency, instead of functioning as a public nuisance, hiding under the name of Governor Ademola Adeleke to mask his grave legislative inadequacies.

Perhaps, that is precisely why Wole Oke found comfort in migrating to the APC, a nest of unbridled mediocres, sheltered only by the illusion of federal power, while he junkets endlessly, delivering nothing to his constituency.

We therefore urge the educated illiterate, Wole Oke, to seek urgent tutorials on constitutional law, political conduct, and basic reasoning, so he can return a bit more reasonable, even in his mischief.

Let it be clearly stated: Accord remains solidly registered, legally grounded, and firmly rooted among the people. If Wole Oke is still intoxicated by his folly and chooses to persist, we assure him that we will meet him anywhere, anytime, strictly under the primacy of the law.

We understand the game. It is a failed attempt to sow seeds of confusion, after the first failed shot of factionalising the party. Unfortunately for Wole, the people of Osun State have long moved beyond his shenanigans. The massive grassroots support Accord enjoys across the nooks and crannies of Osun State is more than enough to politically neutralize misfit opportunists of his kind.

Accord remains focused. Osun State remains enlightened and ready.
And Wole Oke will remain eternally entangled in his confusion.”
