THE Executive Chairman of Atakunmosa West Local Government, Hon. Dare Ajumobi, presented the 2026 budget to the Legislative Council, led by The leader of the house Hon. Olaleye Festus Oluwaseun, on December 23, 2025. Titled “Hope Restructuring,” the budget outlines the administration’s vision for the local government.
The budget, which stands at N5,689,726,790, which covers capital expenditure and recurrent expenditure. The Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Festus Oluwaseun, commended the Chairman and his team for transparency and accountability in budget preparation.
The Leader reiterated his commitment to ensuring the budget is properly scrutinized and passed expeditiously, enabling the Chairman to effectively discharge his duties to the people of Atakunmosa West.
The good people of Atakunmosa West and civil servants at the council secretariat appreciate Hon. Dare Ajumobi’s administration for their unusual governance style, which has brought hope to the good people of the local government.
