Osun 2026: CIPPG Salutes President Tinubu, Commend All Aspirants, Congratulates Oyebamiji As APC Candidate

Ahead of the August 8th, 2026 Governorship election in Osun state, CIPPG has saluted President Bola Tinubu, commended all the APC gubernatorial aspirants, and congratulated Asiwaju Oyebamiji AMBO As APC consensus Candidate.

According to the statement signed by the Director General, CIPPG, A.Fabunmi, below;

“May I use this opportunity to sincerely appreciate my distinguished and ever responsive leader and President His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his dexterity and swift action on the post primary issue that generated from the OSUN APC and the same which helped us even to the success of the main primary exercise.

“Prior to the mediation of Mr President on the latter, you will recall the face-off and the evident pressure that saturated the Progressive clime until the highly dexteric arbitration of H.E President Bola Tinubu which has finally laid the issue to rest!, moved the party forward and also laid a good foundation of a united party for a successful outing ,come 2026 election,for on this note, I salute my ever proactive President.

“Also worthy of commendation and admiration is the eventual conduct of all the wonderful, supportive and truly progressive minded aspirants for their spirit of sportmanship and resolve to work together for the success of our great party in the coming election.”

Secondly, may I also use this opportunity to appreciate the fatherly intervention of baba, Chief Dr. Bisi Akande, the former National chairman of the party, Prof Nentawe Yeltwada, the Present National Chairman of our great party,also and very importantly, my distinguished leader and father, the Hon. Minister and the former Governor of the state, H.E Adegboyega Oyetola, the National secretary of the party, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, Alhaji Tajudeen lawal, the APC Osun party Chairman and other elders and leaders of the party in the State for their contribution on this landmark resolution and the eventual success of the primary.

In another remark, i also congratulate “the gallant star boy” distinguished Hon. Bola Oyebamiji on the success at the just concluded exercise while humbly reminding him of the need to be magnanimous in victory at this crucial stage and also resounding to him at the same time the important factor that winning in an election as highly sensitive as the approaching governorship election inevitably calls for an all inclusive approach, where he must be seen as doing everything possible to reach out and bring everyone on board. to achieve the needed victory.

“Finally to all leaders, members, our associates and endless list of supporters of CIPPG across the State, may I use this medium to remind us that the resolve of the party and the leadership is supreme and on this premise I charge all at various level to get committed to this resolve as we unwaveringly forge ahead to Victory.”
