The Nigerian Army has rescued 10 women who were kidnapped from their farms in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, recovering ₦1.6 million said to be part of the ransom the kidnappers were trying to collect.
The operation was contained in a post shared on Friday by security analyst Zagazola Makama.
According to Makama, the women were abducted on November 29 at Ungwan Nungu, prompting days of sustained search efforts by troops of 1 Division under Operation FANSAN YANMA.

The soldiers reportedly engaged the kidnappers with superior firepower, forcing them to abandon the women and flee.
During the operation, troops recovered a fabricated AK-47 rifle, one round of 9mm ammunition, and ₦1.6 million believed to be part of the ransom.
