People in the area described the victim, a popular maize seller, as humble and hard working.
“If you are in an unhealthy relationship or marriage, quit it now. If you allow anything to happen to you, you caused it yourself and nothing might happen thereafter! This man married this woman on 18/11/2025 and she used a knife to slaughter him on 23/11/2025 when he was sleeping in the afternoon as posted by his associate. The best we can do now is to pray for his departed soul to find Allah’s mercy. A word is said to be enough for the wise. Ours is to always give advice not because we know better but because we care,” one Mohammad Jibo wrote.
Local sources expressed deep sadness over the incident, offering prayers for the repose of his soul.
