Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has refuted reports alleging that he donated a brand-new SUV to Lieutenant Ahmed Yerima, the naval officer recently involved in an altercation with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

In a statement released on Thursday through his X handle, Atiku’s Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, described the claim as baseless and entirely false, emphasizing that it has no factual foundation.

He urged the public to ignore the circulating story, noting that Atiku never gifted Lt. Yerima or anyone else a Toyota SUV.
