THE Youth Reformer Initiative has announced that 17 outstanding youths will be honoured at the 10th edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award (OYAA), scheduled to hold today.
In a statement issued and made available to newsmen on Sunday by the President of the Youth Reformer Initiative and Convener of OYAA, Aminat Ajibola, the annual event will take place at Adolak Event Centre in Osogbo.
According to her, this year’s programme, themed; “Owanbe,” will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Osun while recognizing young individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the development of the state across different sectors.
Ajibola explained that the 10th edition holds special significance as it marks a decade of consistent recognition and celebration of excellence among Osun youths.
She expressed delight at how the initiative has grown over the years, from a small idea to one of the most respected youth recognition platforms in the state.
She noted that the Olowu of Owu Kuta, among other eminent personalities from various walks of life, will grace the event.
Ajibola also called on all awardees to attend with their guests, adding that attendance at the event remains free for all participants.
