65TH DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATION: CONGRATULATIONS NIGERIA !!!

I am delighted to join other well-meaning Nigerians in congratulating the nation and all Nigerians, regardless of their background or nationality, as we celebrate yet another milestone in our journey of nationhood.

The glittering story of our nation is one marked by resilience, determination, sacrifice, unity, and shared prosperity across all facets of human endeavor. This has enabled the nation to attain and maintain its status as the Giant of Africa.

Remarkably, we remember and celebrate the extensive sacrifices made by our heroes of the past, who gave their all in the pursuit of a prosperous, structured, united, and soaring nation. This nation competes favorably in the comity of nations and adequately harnesses its resources for greatness and development.

I, therefore, urge fellow Nigerians to demonstrate a profound sense of patriotism, unwavering dedication, and boundless enthusiasm for the noble endeavor of nation-building. Despite the numerous challenges we face, our nation continues to soar, and I firmly believe that Nigeria shall achieve greatness once more.

Hon. Dr. Abiola Peter Makinde
