Ondo Launches Housing Project For Govt Officials

THE Ondo State Government has announced the commencement of a multi-million naira housing project aimed at providing 32 units of four-bedroom terraced buildings for cabinet members.

The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to be performed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Government House Grounds, Alagbaka, Akure, by 9:00 a.m.

According to the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye, the project represents the government’s commitment to creating a more conducive working and living environment for its top officials.

He noted that the initiative forms part of the administration’s broader development agenda tagged EASE, which he described as a strategic approach to governance.

Dignitaries expected at the event include members of the State House of Assembly, the Judiciary, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and top government functionaries, alongside members of the public.
