THE Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) heartily felicitates and salutes the government, heroes and stakeholders of Osun State on the commemoration of the anniversary of the state’s creation.
In a congratulatory message made available to the newsmen in Osogbo by Chairman of the association, Mukhtar Ajelogbon on Wednesday, OOPA acknowledged the roles of heroes in the creation of the state, and the contribution of all the government across levels in sustaining the effort till date.
According to the release, “Today, we celebrate not just the founding of our dear state on August 27, 1991, but the vision, courage, and sacrifices of the founding fathers, leaders, and citizens who worked tirelessly to bring Osun into existence. Their legacy is the fertile ground upon which our collective dreams continue to grow.
“As an association committed to ethical and impactful journalism, OOPA pays special tribute to the heroes—past and present—whose contributions have shaped the identity, culture, and progress of Osun State. We recognize the immense efforts of traditional rulers, political leaders, civil society actors, and the entire citizenry who have kept the spirit of Osun alive and resilient through the years.
“We urge all residents and stakeholders to reflect on the journey so far and to continue fostering unity, peace, and development across all corners of our state.
“Let us recommit ourselves to building a brighter future through truth, diligence, and community spirit.”
