At the Udiroko festival 2025, Comrade Hon. Asefon Sunday, made a grand appearance in Ado Ekiti, the capital city of Ekiti State, as sons and daughters of Ado, both at home and in the diaspora, gathered to celebrate the Udiroko Festival (Odun Olorunborun) a festival that signifies the beginning of a new calendar year in Ado Ekiti.

The festival was a grand occasion that brought together well-wishers and political dignitaries from across Nigeria, who joined in celebrating with the Ewi of Ado. It was a true reflection of our unity, peace, and rich cultural heritage.

I heartily congratulate our father, the Ewi of Ado, Oba (Dr.) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Ewi-in-Council, APU, and all sons and daughters of Ado Ekiti on the successful celebration of the 2025 Udiroko Festival. I also wish everyone safe journeys back to their various destinations.

Until Udiroko 2026, Ado Ekiti remains united in culture and tradition.
