Osun Amotekun Corps Felicitates Abbas, Omoyele on One-Year Milestone in Office

THE Osun Amotekun Corps has formally extended heartfelt congratulations to the Board Chairman of the Osun Amotekun Corps, AIG Wale Abbas (Rtd), and the Corps Commander, Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, as they mark a significant milestone—one year of dedicated and impactful leadership in office.

In a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo, the Public Relations Officer of the Corps, Mr. Yusuf Idowu Abass, commended the visionary leadership and unwavering commitment of both officers toward enhancing the security architecture of Osun State. He noted that the achievements recorded within the past year are a testament to their professionalism, strategic foresight, and deep-rooted passion for public service.

“Today marks a remarkable chapter in the history of the Osun Amotekun Corps as we celebrate one year of purposeful leadership under the guidance of our esteemed Board Chairman, AIG Wale Abbas (Rtd), and our indefatigable Corps Commander, Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele. Their dedication to the mission of safeguarding lives and property in Osun State has been nothing short of exemplary,” the statement read.

Since their assumption of office, AIG Abbas and Commander Omoyele have overseen a transformative period in the operations of the Corps, characterized by increased community engagement, improved response time to security threats, and closer collaboration with other security agencies across the state. Their leadership has also strengthened the operational capacity and morale of the Corps, boosting public confidence in grassroots security.

Mr. Abass further stated that the Osun Amotekun Corps remains committed to its mandate and will continue to support the administration of the leadership duo in their quest to maintain peace, law, and order across all local government areas in the state.
