Court Takes Action On Nnamdi Kanu’s Case

News Update

THE Federal High Court has ordered that the ongoing trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), be moved temporarily to the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters in Abuja.

The decision was made on Friday to allow the court inspect a shipping container said to have been used to bring in a radio transmitter for Radio Biafra broadcasts.

The container, reportedly too large to be brought to the courtroom, is being held at the DSS facility.

The prosecution, during the resumed hearing, called its fourth witness, a DSS official identified as DDD.

The witness presented a compact disc that was played in court.
