EFCC Moves E-money Away From Lagos, See Why

News Update

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Lagos socialite Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, over alleged abuse of the Naira.

E-Money was taken into custody by EFCC operatives at his Lagos residence on Monday night.

He is accused of spraying US dollars at a social event in Lagos—an act that violates Nigeria’s Foreign Exchange Act—and allegedly defacing the Naira.
