Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has deployed 415 personnel to provide adequate security during the Easter celebration.
This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesman of the Command, ASC II Umar Muhammad M, and made available to journalists in Gusau, the State capital.
The statement added that the State commandant of the Corps, Sani Mustapha deployed the personnel to various worship centres across the 14 local government areas of the State to ensure maximum security and peace throughout the celebration period.
According to the statement, Mustapha said that the NSCDC, under the leadership of the Commandant General, Dr. AA Audi was determined to deliver the nation from the clutches of security challenges, professionally, and efficiently.
The statement added that Zamfara State Command of the Corps was poised to act accordingly and ensure that peace was achieved in the State.
